Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to the information you use on Qeemio. It describes how the website works today.

At a glance

  • No account is needed, and there is no sign-up.
  • Calculator values are processed in your browser and are not sent to a Qeemio server.
  • Saved GPA plans stay in your browser on your device. There is no cloud sync.
  • Qeemio currently does not use analytics or advertising cookies or trackers.

Information you enter

The Grade Calculator, Final Grade Calculator, and GPA Calculator work from the values you type, such as scores, weights, credits, grades, and course names. These calculations run in your browser. The website does not currently send your calculator entries to a Qeemio server.

The Grade Calculator and Final Grade Calculator do not save your entries. They are cleared when you reload or leave the page.

Saved GPA plans

If you choose Save plan in the GPA Calculator, the plan is stored in your browser's local storage under the key qeemio:gpa:v1. A saved plan contains the plan name you choose, when it was saved, the GPA scale, your courses (including any course names), and your planner target.

  • Saved plans stay in that browser on that device. Qeemio does not currently sync them to an account or a server.
  • You can delete plans at any time from Saved plans. Clearing your browser data may also remove them.
  • Anyone who uses the same browser profile on your device may be able to see saved browser data.

Copying, exporting, and importing

The GPA Calculator can copy a summary to your clipboard, download a CSV file or JSON backup, and import a JSON backup. These actions happen only when you choose them. Files are created and read in your browser, and downloads are saved wherever your browser or device saves files.

Cookies and tracking

Qeemio currently does not set analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not currently use analytics or advertising trackers.

The GPA Calculator links to published grading policies from some institutions as reference sources. These links open third-party websites only when you select them. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and Qeemio does not control them.

Hosting and technical logs

The service provider used to host Qeemio may process standard technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as request and network information. That processing happens under the provider's own terms.

Children

Qeemio is an educational utility for students. It has no accounts, sign-up forms, or tracking, and it is not designed to collect personal information from children or anyone else.

Changes to this policy

If Qeemio's data practices change, for example by adding analytics or advertising, this page will be updated before or when the change takes effect, along with the date at the top.
